Jen Psaki Thinks You’re an Idiot, Gaslights About Children in Cages

When are kids in cages good again? When it happens under the Biden administration. At least that’s the narrative being spun by the White House and their media allies. Jen Psaki gave a presser today and the question was brought up by Fox News’ Peter Doocy, who is apparently the only real reporter in the room at this point.

Her answer was the typical word salad variety, and it’s clear that she thinks you’re an idiot.

When you actually study the situation, nothing has really changed from the Trump administration. In fact, photos leaked today showing the expanded migrant children housing being used under Biden. They are shipping containers (or “temporary buildings” depending on your semantics) with a barred window and a locked door. That’s about as “in cages” as it gets.

The reality of this situation lies somewhere in the middle, and has been there for a long time. Are children literally being kept in cages? No, they aren’t, nor were they under Donald Trump. To the extent that any “cages” exist, they are chain link fenced areas that are used as initial holding, originally built by the Obama administration. Yet, the media and Democrats, including Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, have routinely accused Republicans of abusing illegal immigrant children at the border simply by virtue of them being kept in detention at all. This despite the fact that all the evidence said CBP and ICE were doing the best they could with the resources they had.

But now, all the sudden, because a Democrat is in office, the language changes. The media start calling them “holding facilities” and “pop-up” camps. The gaslighting never stops, from Psaki to The Washington Post.

Further, the current surge at the border is completely on Joe Biden’s head. He allowed his partisanship to so color his rhetoric that it served as a brightly glowing “come on in” sign at the border for illegal immigrants. Now, he’s having to deal with the fall out, and the results are essentially the same as the past two administrations. If there was any justice in our media establishment, they’d be hammering Biden just like they did Trump, but they won’t because our newsrooms are staffed with absolute hacks.

In the end, you only have to remember one thing: It’s different when they do it, you rube.
